“dal Cuore alle Mani” Exhibition
“Origine” is a work of art commissioned by Dolce & Gabbana for the brand’s 40th anniversary retrospective exhibition “Dal Cuore Alle Mani”, inaugurated on April 2024 at Palazzo Reale Museum in Milan. It is the combination between a physical performance, choreographed by Mario Coccetti and executed by Rocco Suma and Salvatore Sciancalepore, and the digital intervention of A.i. onto the dancer’s bodies. The materials which define the DNA of the brand, such as black lace, flower prints, animalier, Sicilian tiles, among many others, become the textures that form the two anthropomorphic shapes. The soundtrack, scored by Leonardo Falasco, is also composed with sounds generated by A.i. .
